From the Life of Insects 2025

The allegorical play has been one of the classics of the Czech theatre for almost hundred years.

This timeless comedy drama by the Čapek brothers in three acts describes human qualities (mostly negative) demonstrated by characters from the insect class. All of the play's images are linked by a certain Tulak, the human protagonist, who at the beginning is annoyed that people are offended by being called "human " when they are anything but. He then decides to treat them as insects**, which sets the optics for the rest of the play.
