Karel is a male name derived from the Germanic word karlaz, which means "free man". And the KAREL festival is a free festival, which in 2024 moved from the Machač songbook near Pardubice directly to the courtyard of Košumberk Castle near the town of Luže. Come to a romantic place with an amazing genius loci, look from the walls to the surrounding forests and valleys and dance to energetic bands.

Seller information

Due to the decision of the risk department of card associations and institutions and the associated rules, we and therefore the organizers will not receive funds for tickets paid through the payment gateway until the event takes place. Pre-sale tickets are an important support for the organizers in preparing the events and, in addition, they are obliged to properly tax the sold tickets. The decision not to send any funds does not seem fair to us and therefore we have decided to temporarily deactivate card payments.

Why can't I pay by card here?
